Welcome to VeraFix. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use VeraFix.
What VeraFix does
VeraFix is a platform that connects homeowners with home service professionals. We help users find each other, communicate, and arrange bookings. VeraFix is not the provider of the services listed in the app. Pros are independent and are not employed by VeraFix.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use VeraFix.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Keep your login details private and let us know about any unauthorized use.
Verification and the blue badge
Pros may choose to verify their identity to earn the trusted blue badge. Verification is a check of identity at a point in time. While we work hard to keep VeraFix trustworthy, the badge is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, or outcome of any job. Always use your own judgment when hiring or accepting work.
Bookings and payments
Homeowners and pros agree on the details of each job, including scope and price. You are responsible for honoring the bookings and agreements you make through the app.
Reviews and content
- Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.
- You keep ownership of the content you post, and you give VeraFix permission to display it in the app.
- You may not post content that is false, abusive, unlawful, or that infringes on others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse VeraFix. This includes not attempting to defraud other users, not impersonating others, not bypassing verification, and not interfering with the security or operation of the app.
Disclaimers
VeraFix is provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep the app reliable and trustworthy, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error free, and we are not a party to the agreements between homeowners and pros.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, VeraFix is not liable for any indirect or unexpected losses arising from your use of the app or from any job arranged through it.
Ending your use
You may stop using VeraFix at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that put other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
